Any fans of Holland grills out there?
Comments (1)It is a little bit.. but if your cooking meat you can cook with the hood closed. A cooler grill is great for cooking fish, shrimp, veggies, or pretty much anything delicate. You can look at Napoleon grills wich are a little hotter and comes with a cookbook designed for there grill and teaches you about indirect cooking. Even on a extremely hot grill you can still indirect cook ... you can see some napoleons @ azgrills Here is a link that might be useful: azgrills...See MoreAny quartz countertop fans out there?
Comments (36)CCC123 I saw the Ceasarstone "Blizzard" installed in a showroom, and it looked really good. I was surprised how much I liked it, because I didn't really like it in the little sample square. Sometimes those little squares don't show the color to its best advantage. I thought it looked pretty darn white, if I recall. We've chosen Ceasarstone "Rosemary" after much deliberation, and I cannot wait to have it installed. Sort of a greyish color with a hint of green. Very light on the speckles--we didn't want too much color variation in the pattern, and this color has less "movement" than many of the others....See MoreAny Elvis fans out there? *2 pics*
Comments (21)Here are a few more pics. I discovered they were taken in Oct. 1985. I don't think Graceland had been opened to the public for very long. One reason I'm thinking that is because his aunt still lived upstairs and they had it roped off for her privacy. She was there during our tour along with his cousin who showed us around the grounds and Elvis' trophy room, TV room and all of his vehicles. All separate from the main house. 'I think'. Sheesh, it's been a while folks. LOL There were a number of rooms you weren't allowed in. The kitchen being one of them since the aunt still lived and ate her meals there. Since his bedroom was upstairs, you couldn't view it either. I scanned two at once here. Another photo of The King along with his wife Priscilla. Looks like we fudged and used the flash on this one, unfortunately. This maybe when they told us no cameras with a flash. Also, this was either off the entry or in a foyer. Sorry it's so dark. I should have scanned it separately and lightened it. Of course, this was the formal dining room. I couldn't find one of the jungle room where they jammed and recorded the Moody Blue album. Or, the pool room, which was walled in, I'm thinking, a paisley fabric. All 70's colors of course. Jungle room too, best I recall. Here is a picture of Elvis' grave. Not a very good one. He was laid to rest by his father, Vernon and I suppose his mother, Gladys. However, the name on the headstone to the left looks like it ends in a nnie, like it would be Bonnie or something. I'm confused. Maybe someone can help us out. I know his deceased brother's name was Jessie....See MoreAny Doc Martin fans out there?
Comments (10)I watched a few episodes online and they're running it on PBS now. There's some amusing spots and I like the premise. I really *want* to like it but can't get into it. Some of the accents are too heavy and hard to understand which makes it difficult to follow too. Either it's going to take a while to get used to it or I don't know if I can get into it. Maybe I just need to sit and watch it from the beginning to get used to the cast and watch it grow a bit. There's a lot of the britcoms I really enjoy but can't really get into this one yet....See MoreRusty
