The Fox at the Manger. A first edition lent to me by my 85 year old neighbor and friend. A lovely story. It inspired me to go on Ebay and get a fox to add to my Nativity set.

Iris, your daughter is sooo talented! Does she sell her art? Where?

Laceyvail, it’s just a hobby. Comes in handy for scientific drawings (her minor will be in Entomology, so lots of bug drawings). She did get a couple of jobs, usually from her Professors. She painted a toy chest, did a book cover for an English professor, a poster for another. And was paid to draw a picture for the South Carolina Wildlife magazine. She is working on a children’s book for her “creative Inquiry”, but for this she just gets some of the books. She gave most of the last ones away (did the illustrations for someone else’s book in that class two years ago)
