Do you love your kitchen faucet? Tell me about it!

Or tell me if you hate it.

I need to replace my Delta Touch2O, because I hate it and now it’s dripping (after only 16 months). Not sure what I want, other than it looks nice (traditional or transitional style), and it’s not a pain in the @$$ like the one I have now. I am finished with the touch sensor. Also don’t want a water saver, I need at least a little water pressure.

Thanks M Miller! It is a beautiful faucet. Is 1.5 GPM strong enough? I think mine is 1.8 and it seems kind of wimpy.

Kohler Artifacts with the integrated spray head. Expensive but worth it. Has 3 spray settings, one of which is a fan shape so you can spray down a plate in one motion. Will go either in a transitional or traditional kitchen. Very ergonomic feel and handling.

I love my Moen Aberdeen. Picking a faucet was very hard for me. In my area, Grohe is what all the stores push. I didn't like the Grohe styling for my kitchen. I finally got the Moen Aberdeen because I wanted a spray that would stay on. It also has a trigger for the whole faucet so you can turn it on and off when you're holding the spray head. This feature is great if you're filling pots that are on the countertop, or filling flower vases. You can turn it on and off from the head of the faucet while your holding it, instead of at the sink. Total one hand operation. It is also nice and tall, and if I'm scrubbing a pot in the sink, I can tug the entire head out, let it dangle in the sink right over the pot, and fill the pot. In this way, it's like those tall chef style sink filler faucets, but without the height. I've been very happy with it. I got mine on Ebay. I think I might have saved about a hundred bucks over what the regular faucet stores wanted. If you decide to get a faucet at Lowe's or HD (I think they have the Moen) be aware that they will accept a return if you change your mind, but they will charge restocking fees nearly as high as the internet sellers do! Things are coming together with my kitchen, which creates a whole, in-love feeling. It's not nearly finished (finishes, actually) but I stand there and love it. What has made me really love it vs, eh, ok, maybe someday, is replacing the glass screen door I had in as a pocket to the mudroom. The dogs could look through it, scratch and chew and I didn't care. The beautiful, 1.76" thick French door WITH TRIM (The only trim in my house) is a joy to see. The light was already there, but now I LIKE to look at it. What's really contributed recently to me LOVING my strange kitchen is moving the fridge to the mudroom, giving me 57" of landing space just inside that French door, vs. the 24" I lived on. Cutting off my peninsula has opened the ENTIRE ("ENTIRE," she screamed!) kitchen. It's so open and amazing now, even not finished. With my reclaimed pine floor I have yet to finish, it's just cool. Gotta figure out what to do with those peninsula lights and build my rolling island, but all in all, those items really contribute to my happiness in my kitchen. Can't wait to see how I feel when I can afford my counter depth, over the sink window, my soapstone counters, and someday, a counter depth fridge.

I have the MasterChef faucet from Franke and I'm very happy with it. Stream and spray. I had it installed with the handle towards the front to minimize drips on the counter and that is working very well.

Susie, you know how little birds take a bath and splash water all over ... that is how the rest of my family wash their hands! :-0

Of course they never wipe down the splashes or drips, so the handle towards the front has really helped to cut down on the water puddles next to the faucet.

Kohler Sensate. You will never want another faucet after using this one.

Even though this is the one that has given you trouble, I love my Delta touch. It did fail after about 4 years and Delta sent me a new one free of charge.

I love my Kohler Rubicon. Been using it a little over a month. So easy to control, spray is nice, and the head snaps back in easily with a magnet to guide it.

To repeat what Ssdarb said, Delta does have a lifetime warranty. I do believe that if you speak to them they might allow you to pick another of their faucets if the one you have is not good. I had that happen (after a long time of ownership) and the faucet that failed was no longer made. They offered me to pick out a faucet and they sent it .

I’m glad that you like your delta ssdarb. Mine hasn’t failed, I just don’t like some of the features, which can’t be changed. I’ve spoken with delta already. The features I don’t like are 1) I can’t adjust the mixer to make it any hotter than 105F even though my hot water heater is warmer. I like to clean with hot water.
2) The water pressure is not high enough for me. Other faucets in the house are fine. My previous faucet was fine. But it was a cheap one and I want one that will last.
3) The touch function doesn’t work well with rubber gloves but it works so well with bare hands that my clothes (and other things that o don’t want to be wet) get sprayed frequently. I have decided the touch function is not one that I need or want.
