I have the Kohler Revival and I like it a lot. It has two separate handles plus a sprayer and I put in a soap dispenser so 5 holes in all. A lot of people like a single handle but I like separate hot and cold handles. Pictures on my home page or the Finished Kitchens Blog.

This is my favorite. Works very smoothly and precisely. Expensive, but makes most standard faucets look like they were designed in Somalia. Present installation has lasted at one location for 16 years and still operates like I installed it yesterday. Cheaper big-box alternatives at mom's house, I've had to replace three times in the same period and none of them are as pleasant to use.

This design is stream/spray head that pulls out also. Single-hole. Spring retraction.

I love my Moen Aberdeen. Picking a faucet was very hard for me. In my area, Grohe is what all the stores push. I didn't like the Grohe styling for my kitchen. I finally got the Moen Aberdeen because I wanted a spray that would stay on. It also has a trigger for the whole faucet so you can turn it on and off when you're holding the spray head. This feature is great if you're filling pots that are on the countertop, or filling flower vases. You can turn it on and off from the head of the faucet while your holding it, instead of at the sink. Total one hand operation. It is also nice and tall, and if I'm scrubbing a pot in the sink, I can tug the entire head out, let it dangle in the sink right over the pot, and fill the pot. In this way, it's like those tall chef style sink filler faucets, but without the height. I've been very happy with it. I got mine on Ebay. I think I might have saved about a hundred bucks over what the regular faucet stores wanted. If you decide to get a faucet at Lowe's or HD (I think they have the Moen) be aware that they will accept a return if you change your mind, but they will charge restocking fees nearly as high as the internet sellers do! what about the Kohler Vinnata? It has a pull out head and just needs one hole unless you do hot/cold water in another hole. I think fewer holes the better, it just looks too cluttered. Like when women wear all their rings and all their bracelots and all their necklaces every time they go out. Enough now. Keep the look clean and smooth. Just my opinion, hope I have not upset those women who wear all their jewellery at one time, but maybe this will stop that too.

i installed a single hole Blanco "semi-pro" faucet. includes a regular faucet and a pull down sprayer. It fits my 33 ich stainless single bowel sink perfectly. Both the faucet and the pull down unit rotate entirely out of the way of the sink, so you can put enormous stuff in the sink. a link to the faucet is provided. if your diligent and search the net..you can get a pretty nice discounted price (better than what you see on the link).

On that Blanco Master Gourmet, how do you control flow to the sprayer? Does it auto-re-reroute when you press the sprayer button or do you have to manually route it?

Don't know if you've already made your decision, but since you're going with white Italian look I'd definitely go with a single hole. You may want to get an in-counter soap dispenser (we have 2: 1 for hand and the other for dish) and a RO water dispenser. All in white and very minimalist.

As far as brands, I love Grohe and prefer the LadyLux although the above mentioned EuroPlus is nice. Had Grohe for more than 2 decades in various homes and never had a problem.

the blanco faucet has a main control arm mounted on the main
stem of the faucet, that control water pressure, and temperature. Forward and backward for temp control, out to the side for water flow.

the sprayer has a on/off button/lever, that re-routes faucet flow to the sprayer.

We just had our new faucet installed a few weeks ago and so far I love it!

Oil Rubbed Bronze. Believe we ordered it through Faucet Depot online and it was a couple hundred dollars cheaper than listed on Grohe's site.

We also had the Tapmaster installed to go with it. (really love it!)

I know what I would have bought if my budget hadn't hit the wall big time--a KWC Systema 10.501.144.127 pull down. Killer faucet, but it's $1200 plus. I think igloochic has one, I'm way jealous. We went with Blanco Master Gourmet instead but I'll always wonder...
