Comments (6)Remember what Readinglady said when her Dad passed away on Thanksgiving: "Nothing is lost, it is simply unseen". Thank you for that poem, this first Christmas without Dad or Stepdad was very different. We didn't even try to make things the same, we started some new traditions, as difficult as it was. Elery got a Santa Claus suit and came as Santa, enthralling all the little kids, that's going to be a new Christmas tradition we keep, I think. Comments (4)I found a different version of this when my Dad passed away 9 yrs ago. I put it in a document and added a beautiful picture of a church as a background. When others saw it at work, I ended up printing out about a dozen that year. I laminated a copy and gave to my Mom. I put another one in a frame and laid it on Dad's stone. (Someone stole it.
