Comments (1)Eeewwww! Don't like Pop Tarts. Santa's Helpers sure didn't make me think of Pop Tarts when I made them. Made me think more of a lovely butter tart. One with walnuts. Ann...See MoreFinally made lasagna noodles using rolling pin
Comments (35)Squircle!! I laughed because I still use my old Corning Ware with the blue cornflowers on the sides! My daughter keeps saying that I should get rid of them because they are so old. I tell her, "I am old too. Do you want to get rid of me?" I should give all my kitchen stuff to charity when I die, because she will get rid of it anyway. I will roll over in my grave when she throws my Ankarsrum mixer or my Breville Peel and Dice out. Maybe, I should be buried with them.... I love my stainless steel rolling pin that my father-in-law made for his mother-in-law. (My husband's grandmother) But, my husband loaded the dishwasher one night, and he put the rolling pin in the dishwasher. No more shiny! He did the same thing to my meat mallet. Biscuit and doughnut cutters are still shiny though. Used a Corning Ware dish tonight to make 4 rolls. Lars, your lasagna looks better than the one I made the other day. Mine was really flat and green. Not pretty at all, but it is probably one of the best recipes I have ever made....See MoreHe made it ... to 'the final frontier'
Comments (9)His comments about about thin our atmosphere is really stuck with me. We all think it's never ending and yet it isn't and we all seem intent on destroying it. This is from NBC news William Shatner said Thursday that breaking through the Earth's "thin" atmosphere reinforced his conviction that people need to take better care of the planet. "It's so fragile," Shatner, who played Capt. James T. Kirk on the original "Star Trek" series, said on NBC's "TODAY" show. "There’s this little tiny blue skin that’s 50 miles wide," he said. "And we pollute it, and it’s our means of living. And I was struck so profoundly by it."...See MoreJasdip, I finally made your first rhubarb muffin recipe.
Comments (2)I have had her recipe for a very long time and made them way back when I had my own rhubarb. I don't have rhubarb any more and have not seen any in the stores. I think it is too late in the season here for it. Sue...See Moresooz
