Congratulations. Glad it all turned out alright. Did they have to do a C section? I was in labor 12+ hours when the doctor decided to do that because my son was breech. I am glad they did because he ended up weighing 9lbs 10.5 ounces.

Congrats!!! I had a nine pound boy and sometimes it's a tad more difficult than smaller babies which my second was at a pound less. Show us pics.

Warmest congratulations upon the birth of your "little" angel. Best Christmas present ever! Our first grandson was born a few weeks early on Christmas Day. So nowadays they do tree in the morning and birthday at lunchtime.

Big babies are easier to care for - they usually are good eaters and will sleep through the night sooner if well-fed.

Our DGS was a difficult delivery, caused by his 99th percentile head. He finally popped out as the doctor was calling for the GYN version of 'the plumber's friend'.
