hate the new format!!!
Comments (59)I got around the log in issue by adopting a new pseudonym (username). It kept rejecting my old one. Sure the old profile and data still survive somewhere. Existing in parallel universes has its perks, I guess. But all this white hurts my eyes. Do we need to go to settings each time we visit here to reduce luminosity?! I feel like I now know what it must be like to go snow blind!!! Maybe just wear a pair a shades....See MoreDid Houzz have to change the whole site?
Comments (24)Luvs2plant: None of us knew it was going to change...we all came to the site the other day and BAM! SLAM! Out with the old and in with the new. You will see that lots of folks are not happy about it. I was very surprised, but have been poking around and am getting used to it...but, I'm young, easy going, and creative...I can usually handle change well. I personally don't mined it. It will take some time for everyone to get used to. I was, however, disappointed that we all weren't notified about the change and this whole thing about our trade lists not being ready for the big move...not a good way for houzz to make friends with the GW folks....See MoreComplaining, My photos are in a different format
Comments (7)Maybe when you go to your Start button and click "Photos", you're viewing your photos with the Microsoft app called "Photos" but you're used to viewing them in "File Explorer"? . . For me, opening with the "Photos" app looks something like this:. . but opening with "File Explorer" looks like more like this: . . "When I go to my start button and the "Photos" button I get the bigger pictures, different sizes, as above, with "Collections, Albums, Folders" across the top." If I understand correctly, you probably want to go your start button and click the "File Explorer" button instead of the "Photos" button. (Or if you have "This PC" on your desktop, click that, then "Pictures" and locate the photos you're interested in.) I'm not much of a Windows user though so I might be completely misunderstanding....See MoreDid they just, between my last post and now, change the format?
Comments (5)I had that too, Bea. I got rid of it, but not sure how I did it. I don't remember. I think I went on through an old bookmark which opened the page to the normal page. From there I could navigate to the forums. I deleted the old bookmarks and made new ones. I'm pretty sure that is what I did. Very annoying, I agree, but there is a work around. Try going on through a bookmark. I use Firefox so not sure which browser you use. Jane...See Morehousegal200
