Personally I would steer clear of anything made in china all the major manufacturers quartz products are label or printed on the reverse side of the stone, Which will indicate that they are happy to brand their products, plus it will also have where it is made on it. For an example Caesarstone will be either Israel or USA Silestone will be Spain Technistone will be Czech etc

Get a few prices and keep in mind that fabricators set up deals with quartz providers. So you might get a lower price from Store A and a much higher price from Store B (because their fabricator doesn't stock that color). Stay with the big names: Cambria, Silestone, Hanstone, LG Viatera, Zodiaq to name a few. If you have a large piece, find out what colors have jumbo slab sizes available. If you go to three stores, ask for their list of color group prices: A,B and C. Then pick the colors you like from each store and have them quoted. Expect to pay more if you want less seams.
