At first blush, it looks to be a green soapstone-like material in a 4" or 5" hexagon.

I did find the following Danish tile that looks very much like it:

biz...anaphylactic responses run in my husband's family- some to bees, some to nuts, some to half a dozen things. simple things like id'ing what sort of bees, and determining their habits will make pulling it up a lot easier- or there may be someone close who can help- in fact, through freecycle or craigslist, it's possible you may find someone willing to come out, and haul the whole mat of it away (and think they got lucky, on top of it) otherwise, it really does involve digging up as much of the sea of it as practical- and roundup-ing anything that grows back from the left overs. two layers of wet cardboard (or 12 of newsprint) covered with mulch SHOULD smother it eventually...but it will still try and crawl to the edge, and escape.

I am pretty sure I've seen that recently when I was searching for tile for my bath remodel. I used a tile that looks identical to the mosaic and it is a Fap Ceramiche tile; I've been on their website a lot lately to try to find that mosaic in a different color than what I used. The scroll matches so perfectly, I kind of think it is the same manufacturer (my mosaic is the same color as shown) and that's probably where I saw it - on their website. But I have to say it is the most frustrating website I have encountered to try to view their products, so I can't face trying to see if the scroll tile is there. If you have the time to go through each of their lines, I think you might find it. Try the Fap Suite line first - that might be it. eta: It's the Suite Lisbona tile - the only place I could find it was on the video at that link, but I didn't look too hard - it's probably in their catalog somewhere, too. looks like American Bulldog to me, too; seems like Pits/Staffordshires have boxier heads & more compact bodies. They're cute cute cute... & they need to be indoor dogs due to their sensitive skin & eyes (white dogs sunburn & are more susceptible to skin cancer).

Oh boy!! With more than a 1000 species and at least 10,000 registered cultivars, it is tricky to get very specific with any ID's :-)) And there are many possibilities fitting that rough, pale pink description. A few that come to mind are: Christmas Cheer (an early bloomer but NOT at Christmas!!) Janet Blair Cilpinense Pink Pearl or most of the yakushimanum hybrids....Dreamland, Teddy Bear, Ken Janeck, Yaku Princess, Grumpy, Mardi Gras

I've tried contacting them but got a stock response asking for my UK architect info. Any idea where I can purchase these in the US?

I think you fell in love with a "to the trade" only tile, meaning that an architect, designer or other contractor would need to contact them and purchase for you. My guess is these are quite pricey, but perhaps that's not a concern. Very interesting glaze/finish on these. Might consider checking on alternatives with a similar look.... "handmade glazed hex tile". I know for example that Mercury Mosaics has a handmade hex close to that color (but the finish won't be quite so varied as your inspiration). It does, in fact, seem to be a little problematic to get in the US and you might be better served to source something similar that is made domestically as Dragonfly suggested. Apparently, there is a VAT tax to be paid and shipping arranged, all by a wholesaler/reseller.
