HELP! I need help with a Night Light Table Lamp!!!
Comments (5)melonie- I'm going to offer some friendly advice, so please don't be insulted. This is a very simple repair...if you know what you're doing and if you know what a safe installation should look like when you're done. I'm concerned that this problem developed when you were replacing a bulb. That either means that there is some deterioration in the wiring or socket and those parts need to be entirely replaced, or you are not experienced enough to make a safe repair. Whatever the case, you should get help from a friend who knows something more than you do about wiring. I'd hate to have you make what you thought was a safe repair, only to electrocute yourself some night....See Moretable lamp help
Comments (15)So I got the lamps from kirklands with the glass bottoms! I like the size of these lamps much better. I also like the glass bottoms which have a much lighter feel than the dark gray stone in the prior lamps. I also included a picture of our bar area so you can see the light fixtures there - one of the reasons I wanted to switch these lamps to glass bottoms is because I thought it would look nice to have them be similar visually since the room is open concept. The lamp shades are oval which I didn’t realize from the online picture. I think I would prefer if they were round like in my inspo picture. so I might change the shades. Thoughts? The shades are also like an oatmeal color, and I think I might get them in more of a cream/ivory color. I know it is subtle but I think the details count. Thoughts? Thanks!...See MorePlease help with family room table lamp suggestions!
Comments (19)Is anyone going to use those chairs for reading or anything that requires "good" light? I wouldn't use a table lamp; you would need one fairly tall for reading, etc., and could be too large for the table. You don't have a lot of room and I also assume you have something planned for the wall so maybe a simple pharmacy lamp behind the chair that is next to the wall? I would suggest an arc floor lamp or floor lamp with larger shade but I don't think you have enough room for those. I have an ancient halogen pharmacy lamp I've drug around for decades (and stocked up on the bulbs long ago!) which I use almost every night for needlework....See MoreHelp with end tables and lamps please!
Comments (7)I would say your style is transitional. As “Fanny Packs” said, a pendant light might be a good idea, it doesn’t take up space on the end table. Not sure if you need a light to the right of the couch, but that would be a nice option there. An end table in the same tone as your shelves or pick one that’s one of the fun colors you have as accents, with drawers would be a good option. For inexpensive check out on Sunmory, Amazon, even Wayfair has some nice looking stuff now....See MoreTee
