FATHERS?!?! I had one, I am one. My son(17) gives me that "I do not believe it" look a lot. When it comes to thing with many keys,buttons & blinking lights he is right. IMO,All sweet peppers are green(unripe/ immature) until they ripen, then they are red(the only kind for many years)yellow,orange or purple. IMO, you are right, but I eat them all & they are great. By the way cucumber are eaten immature in my house( before they turn yellow).

Some of the club mosses have been given new names. The one in your picture is Diphasiastrum digitatum.

Thanksgiving cactus (Schlumbergera truncata.) Individual flowers are short-lived. Does that pot have a hole in the bottom for excess water to escape? Although this is not a desert cactus but a jungle epiphyte, it wouldn't appreciate any standing water. You can find many discussions about these plants on cacti/succulent forum, and house plant forum. Don't think I've seen one with such red leaves before. Those more knowledgeable about this plant might have some explanation of that, if you'd like to ask on one of those forums.

My collections lately: Almost any small new leaves before they harden & expand: Tiny little vine tendrils from Clematis. All parts of the Japanese Climbing Fern. New chartreuse foliage from Spirea Goldmound. New red crinkly Rose foliage. New purple foliage from Lorapetalum. Almost all-white leaves from variegated plants like Osmanthus heterophyllus and ivies. Also bits of my houseplants like Polyscias although it's almost impossible to press nicely...still, it's so frilly! And "weeds" are wonderful...young bits of Equisetum, violets, creeping jenny, geranium leaves & seedpods...I'll never in this lifetime use all I gather but what fun! jo
