Less than an inch of rain in the past five weeks
Comments (8)I heard on the news a week or so ago that in a La Nina year, we get our rain in Oct., Nov., and Dec. Hadn't heard this before. There was mention on the news tonight of a slight chance of rain this next week. I'm actually surprised at the areas on my property that are still wet /damp....those areas that are shaded and have a lot of leaf litter. This will be the year to see how much of my long established plantings can survive. Things are going to have to make it on very, very little water or get pulled. The water costs are just insane....See Moreless than 3 weeks to close
Comments (2)You need to decide what you can afford to have replaces at your expense, and the most important...which of the things is the one you hate the most and cannot live with! Is the bathroom counter top muddy green because of lighting or lack of natural light or was the wrong color ordered? Ask to see the builders invoice. The kitchen cabinets are really big and will be the hardest to fix once you are in and living in the house. This is one that would be hard to let go, maybe you and the cabinet guy can work out a plan. You need to reread the contract or spec sheet, if it does say bull nose and curved corners and not OR, or say choose between the 2, then again, you may want to hold their feet to the fire. I would recommend being very carful in your approach and make sure you have the facts and don't assume anything, because in the end the builder will win, but with a delicate approach and playing the "we" card may get you everything you want!!! Good luck!!!...See Morethird posting in less than a week sheesh embroidering clothing
Comments (2)You turn it almost inside out and pin the extra out of the way. Stabilize the knit before attaching it to the hoop using your favorite menthod. You will have to sit there and babysit the machine to make sure it stays out of the needle's way. The onesie is easy. Remember how you gather the back of the shirt up to get it over baby's head? Do the same and then stick the front on the hoop, and then pin or tape the excess out of the way....See MoreSold in less than a week
Comments (13)"BUT...it might be a smooth transaction. We had an offer on a house we sold 4 hours after it went on MLS. Good contract within 24 hours. A Closing with no problems. " Seems it is either feast or famine, LOL. My Mom has a contract on a house that had three offers on its first day on MLS. The only reason she got there first is that it is in my neighborhood and I saw them physically put the sign up. We called before it showed up on MLS and ours was the first viewing on the first day it was listed. Obviously the other two shoppers were on the ball as well. It was a strong cash offer so hopefully no issues :)...See MoreMw
