Super White Confusion

Hi. My husband and I are in love with Super White but very leary because we have a lot of traffic in our kitchen. Was just wondering if anyone is living with Super White and how it is holding up. Thanks for any input. Sorry if it’s a redundant Post.

I've had Super White in my new build kitchen and BR for 4.5 years. I didn't do, nor have done, any of the recommended testing of my countertops. We were set on SW and willing to live with whatever wear and tear came with it. We did have a sealer applied that is supposed to last 10 years. After 4.5 years, I just recently noticed my first etching near the sink. Appears that someone left some type of glass or bottle that did the damage. I'm not an obsessive cleaner, so I'm actually surprised that it took this long. I love my SW counters and have no regrets.

Have you searched the forum for “super white?” That may be beneficial. Are you thinking to use super white on walls or cabinetry?

Knobs for doors, pulls for drawers - you'll be consistent throughout the kitchen. I don't think it matters that one side has drawers and the other side as doors - especially since the island prevents you from seeing everything at once. I think it would be more weird if you put pulls on any of the doors on the sink side.

What color did you decide for your exterior? We are in the same boat and looking at Extra White, Super White, White, White Heron, Highly Reflective White, Chantilly Lace and Wedding Veil. It is so confusing. We have an East/West house so the back looks bright and the front can get yellow/creamy (which I don't want). Just clean pure white that is not too stark and not yellow/dingy. Appreciate any feedback.

@Dawne, you don't bother me. Ask as many questions as You need. Most are 6" ( upper cabinets and some smaller drawers ) and 8" on longer drawers.

Oh, I thought you were referring to the paint color name. Both BM and SW have paint colors named Super White.

Karin_mt is our helpful geologist and started an [informative thread[(https://www.houzz.com/discussions/the-lowdown-on-super-white-dsvw-vd~2695698) on the stones being called Super White. The stone industry isn't required to use the name for certain compositions so you have to get a sample and test.

It a dolomitic marble. Can etch, stain and scratch/chip.
