please help me I'd this rose
Comments (4)Thank you hoovb... I wonder if there is indeed a pink alchemist. Unfortunately I could not reach up to verify its fragrance because the flowers were on top of the canes. But I carefully scanned and checked and noticed the canes were thornless. And the rose looks very healthy. Here is another pic of a less opened flower--about the same shade of pink as the older bloom. R de l'haye is fragrant, but sweeter....See MoreDavid Austin Rose I.D. Help?
Comments (2)Hoovb, thanks for responding, but I don't think it's Evelyn. If you click on the link above to the main thread I have posted a full description with 10 more pictures of the mystery rose. I have grown Evelyn before and the color is never that deep. Evelyn has always quickly faded to flesh tones for me, while this rose retains its color.......See More‘Chicago Peace’ for south OC, SoCal

Silvia...Thank you very much for helping me. I think it would do well here too! Hot and dry during summer. How big is your CP? Does color fade much in heat? Is yours in the sun all day?
