Stinky, sweaty, smelly old clothes as deer repellent?
Comments (4)Deer will grow used to about anything like oder repellants, water sprinklers, flashing lights you name it. I control mine here but you may not be able to do it in our area with a 410Ga shotgun with target loads in it. At 30 ft that will not penatrate the tough hide on a deers rump. But it will certainly deliver a very strong long lasting memory. If you can manage to catch them out in the dark. the combination of the roar of the shotgun the muzzel flash and the sting of the shot is just about enough to keep them away from the area for a life time. I had a whoile herd scared to come into my area for a couple of years but a a cpuple bucks wondered in from other ares this year and I had to clarify the boundries to them....See MoreSpots on clothes after washing & drying
Comments (6)Hard to tell what the spots are without seeing them... But... If they're black greasy spots they could have been caused by the washer. I'm not sure what it was but I heard a radio program about it a few years back and they said it was an easy inexpensive fix for the washer... As for the clothes, I'd suggest wetting the spots with liquid detergent, rub it in and wash them again... Now then, if the spots are lighter it may have been the detergent or fabric softener and I'm not sure if there's anything you can do about that... What you could do is take them to the cleaners and ask them what they think.. Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll tell you just to wash them again... Rita...See Morewashing soda helps smelly FL
Comments (7)Wow, I'm all for cleaner clothes. But I'm pretty clueless. I just use my Charlie's soap and have been very happy with it. I haven't had any odors or anything from my machine either (going on 9 months). My question may sound stupid to most but what is washing soda?...See MoreWeird stains on dark clothes after washing
Comments (20)Hey ya'll! ....i'm having this same exact greasy looking issue too! Happens in my sister's "washer" & it's happening "in the washer"! i don't use LFS, only sheets. i have also rewashed these "only dark spotted clothes" again (no dry yet), but still there, can not get it out! i've also noticed, only a cpl times, actual black grease-like stuff (on any color clothes) but luckily that has come out easily with some "Goo•Gone"! So, WTH?! I'm thinking, it's gotta be something coming from inside the washer's machanics, but what??? and how to figure that out without paying a high price for service?!? Any ideas out there? Any washing machine service men/women have any ideas? 😊 Thanks so much!...See Moresuseyb
