Comments (150)Something about rectangular shapes [of windows] and several together -- fp item with irregular shape [cause it's sculptural] -- adds interest. There'd be another spot for art - the opposite wall where there's nothing right now. Comments (2)Thanks, Elaine! Well, the kitchen is done in the same paneling so we wanted the rooms to flow together. The cabinets, backsplash, and counters in the kitchen are all done in shades of white, so to whitewash both rooms would result in too much white in the kitchen. We can't place the TV next to the fireplace because there are windows on each side. I was trying to keep the lodge or farmhouse feel, which is why we didn't drywall it when we moved it....See MoreHelp! My Family Room has too many doorways and windows.
