what do you think about healing gardens?
Comments (14)Alcatraz, no I haven't. There's another corner I might have to turn on to. I just don't know where to go next with this concept. I spend years getting involved and just always pull out. I don't think I'm really the person who throws the life preserver. Cause I feel like I'm hanging on to one myself so I'd be just sharing. That's if their was a chose in between being in a jail or getting out. I hate what Philly Pa has done along a major road. My car stawled out on the Ben Franklin Bridge, was able to coast safely on the down side and stop restart...got frazzled and was on my way not think in a wrong direction....A 20 minute detour because on f'ing tress covering direction signs. That not healing and I hope to heck it wasn't PHS who put them their....Real big mistake. I was pissed. If not I think their better be some more people making these choices because I out of now where had an isuuse that could have gotten me at the least in a bad way....sign should be more visiable. I was ment to see what can happen during stressful times and big trees in the wrong spot is not one of them....See MoreFledgling Mourning Doves in my garden
Comments (11)Nice, Lisa. I like Mourning Dove, too. Sorta off topic, but I saw a cardinal feeding a little brown bump of something in the orchard yesterday. I was walking my little senior pup and the cat always has to come with us. Well, I hurried ahead and scooped up the baby cardinal and placed he/she in the tall grass before Kitty spotted it. The baby made a big fuss and spread its wings to try and scare me, I felt bad. The adult hovered nearby so I'm sure it knew where it was....See MoreMourning the loss-High Country Gardens
Comments (14)My guess is that the website has not been updated yet. The article was in the Albuquerque paper. He noted that it was a combination of the troubled real estate market, several years of drought, and when we had fires again this year, that also slowed business tremendously. He also noted the competition from places like Home Depot and Lowes. They closed much earlier than normal this fall, even shutting down orders whereas last year, one was able to order Christmas gifts from them. It is definitely sad to lose such a resource....See MoreIs anyone growing a healing plant garden??
Comments (3)I am growing catnip and feverfew from seeds. They didn't germinate well. Catnip is supposed to be a relaxing tea and feverfew is suppposed to be good for headaches and digestion and alot of other things. I have a nice rosemary plant. I make an oil with the rosemary that I use for aches and pains. It works well. No medicines work for my pain. Maybe just as well?!...See Moredianela7analabama
