living room design / setup dilemma
Comments (7)Thank you for the feedback! Yes, the floors are changing to a mahogany wood throughout. What are your thoughts on the fireplace? I thought of just the middle area but it won’t be symmetrical. I’ll update with the measurements later :)...See MoreLiving room setup
Comments (10)I like btydvn's comment about potentially having 4 chairs around a table. If you like having a sofa in there for guests, what do you think about getting one that is smaller and with narrow legs? It would make the space feel a lot more open and your eyes wouldn't get stuck on the current sofa right when you enter the house....See MoreLiving Room Setup and Décor Dilemma! Comments (17)First off. You did great. Before seeing the pictures I expected a lot worse. So 👏👏. Anyways I like the furniture the other way. Forsure. The couch belongs in front/ facing the tv. Yes to a new rug. I like the first one you posted. I’d try it out. Love the pillows. Especially the Cognac ones. But maybe spread them out. Move some to the chairs. And other areas in the home. Seems hard to find a spot to sit lol. I would maybe consider a new coffee table too. Great space....See Morehelp with living room setup
Comments (20)We might recommend moving the TV/fireplace to where the shelf is currently hanging. We think if you place the fireplace in the middle with artwork over it, and then place the TV lower on the wall over a console, then you should be able to place the sofa facing both the fireplace and TV. You would be able to place a small console where the TV/fireplace is now and have that as an entryway. If you got two chairs they might be able to be placed where the window is, next to the door. See our images below for more inspiration....See MoreSheri A
