sleevepresto, A floating vanity gives you some under cabinet storage while giving a more spacious feeling to a small bathroom. I thought about adding rope lighting below mine to highlight this, but I decided it might be too busy for the room size, and that would defeat my primary design objective. If you need more storage, could you incorporate additional between-the-studs storage besides the medicine cabinet? I bought two between-the-studs medicine cabinets that look like picture frames, but I'm not ready to use them yet. They're for my master bath remodel. They're very expensive, but very nicely made. The 'downside' is that most prefab comes from china. So the politics of 'made in china' can be twisted to malign a natural stone :) Sure there may be some really cheaply fabricated prefabs but that is why you inspect it yourself. If the polish is even, the thickness is even, the bull nose is even, I say go for it. People will say that the chinese black galaxy is not as good as some other country's. 50 million years ago i dont think there were countries :) Just lots of lava that turned into stone. and countries such as india, china, brazil simply have large deposits of gorgeous material.

We recently put the polished nickel Delta Cassidy line in our master bath. It has a very traditional look at a good price point, and plumbers like it. We went with all cross handles. On the lavatories, however, we used the one handled trough faucet rather than the one you’ve shown. I can’t tell you how much we love them. Some people, however, I do not like a one handled lavatory faucet. If I were to use the version you have listed, I would go with the cross handles so that it does have a more traditional vibe. As to finish, consider what will look best with your other surfaces, especially your tile and countertop. As enduring says, the sheen is a little more cold on chrome and a little more warm on nickel.

I love the purple tub! I would maybe do purple vanity that matches the color or a darker purple? Walls I would paint white, mirrors I would either sand (if they’re wood and have them be a light wood tone) and new hardware! Reason I’m thinking no black is bc everything in the room is light, the tub the floors. I wonder if cream painted mirrors could tie in the floor? And in between the vanities you could do hampers/ garbage can (but trendy nice one like wicker or something). I would keep chrome as the hardware. Just some ideas, maybe a new shower curtain
