Have you used a pod? How well did it work for you?
Comments (8)We used a pod with great success. It was cheaper than a storage unit, and we didn't have to make multiple trips. We jammed it full of things we wanted to keep but needed to move to declutter the house for the sales photos. worked like a charm. Plus they delivered to the new address. Actually saved us quite a bit on money. We bought a bunch of bungee cords of different strengths, and made sure to secure everything to the sides. We used Zippy Shells because they were cheaper than the well known pods. The sides are like metal cages so they are easy to tie something to. Then they shrink wrap the sides to protect your goods before they store it. They advise to put the heavy items in the middle to balance out the weight. I don't remember any restrictions on lawn mowers, etc, probably because these units can breathe. I would use them again in a heart beat....See MoreBattery Powered Tiller - do you own one or have you used one?

Comments (59)Be careful Jinx, next thing you know you will want an egg coddler . . . We had the cups when I was a kid but I have decided I don't really like the process so I can't justify the storage space they would take up. I did inherit a little gizmo to "poach" an egg in the microwave. It's very fast and the egg comes out perfectly round. I use it to make egg sandwiches on an english muffin. I thought I would not like it but it has worked out well in use....See Moremtnrdredux_gw
