Advice for building greenhouse/catio?

I'm looking for some advice for best glazing options for a greenhouse/catio we're building. We're in Seattle, so relatively mild weather. We're building one structure with two purposes:

1) Year round catio - so our cats can be protected from inclement weather, but enjoy fresh air and feel like they're "outside" all year.

2) Protect my semi-hardy dwarf citrus trees for about six months of the year.

Ideally, we would have the structure screened in, but with some kind of clear paneling for light transmission/thermal protection. We would like to remove the panels for about six months of the year.

Any ideas or suggestions on what type of clear panels to use, and how best to attach? The roof will be multi-wall polycarbonate with two window for ventilation.

We thought this would be easy, but figuring out best materials is like reinventing the wheel. Hoping some folks with expertise could chime in.

Thank you!
