Will Classic Gray work in a North Facing Room?

Paint is making me crazy! We renovated our kitchen with white cabinets and large island in SW Sea Serpant. The granite is light gray and the backspash is also light gray. The floors throughout are stained in Jacobean so they are dark. The kitchen is south facing with a lot of natural light and Gray Owl seems to be a good pick for that room.

The living room/foyer open into the kitchen; however, are north facing with a large overhang over the window so natural light is minimal. I was originally trying for a gray, but felt too dark. Then moved to grays with either blue or green undertone. We like Arctic Gray BM or Quiet Moments by BM. However, there is part of me that wants to keep it fresh and go with Classic Gray with Simply White trim. Will that feel cold? The couch in the living room is a soft gray, medium tone. I figured I could bring in color with a rug and accent chairs or windows.

Thoughts and suggestions would be most appreciated.
