Comments (1)Vinyl shoe molding (or at least quarter round) is available. It's grouped together in the stores with PVC molding for garages. You can paint it any color you like. Thought truthfully, unless you're doing tons of splashing, or taking long steam showers with the door closed, painted wood baseboards/shoe molding should be fine. We've got them in all our bathrooms. And think about it: your vanities are made of wood. So it's not taboo in the bathroom....See MoreRemove the yellowness from bathroom wall tiles??
Comments (16)First, I assume this is ceramic tile and grout. If it were my house, I would start with something simple like Comet spray bathroom cleaner, and follow the directions on the bottle: spray and leave it set for a while, and by this, I mean, look at a clock and time it. This is the mistake many people make - they spray and wipe too soon, and they don't leave the product on long enough to work. If that didn't do it, I would move to the professional products. I like the StoneTech line of products, and they have one called the Restore Acid Cleaner, which I used - very carefully - on a shower that I could not get clean. It is amazing! I had to tape off some metal in the shower because it etches. I am sure there are similar products out there from other companies, but this has worked for me. Comments (8)If trim in MBr doesn't work, try White Dove. Without seeing the tile in person I can't advise as to whether it will work. I like to prime and paint a piece of trim (about 12" or so) so I can get a good idea of the color and carry it around with me. White Dove is a no, go with a white that doesn't have obvious tones jumping out at you (yellow, pink) when you compare the tile and paint side by side. Again, working up a trim sample is always better than choosing off the paint chip. Comments (4)Hi Roxanne, I recommend using Daltile, which is a cost-effective and durable brand, that has a wide variety of options to choose from. Since your bathroom is small and you are on a budget, I recommend avoiding a busy mosaic that can visually be overwhelming in a small space and can cost more to install sometimes. A larger tile or a slab look would be nice options in the space, as they are less visually busy and can be more affordable to install. Please see the options below. Check out their other options as well! This is the Daltile Sail Gloss Bevel 6x16 tile... This is the Daltile Glazed Porcelain Elemental Statuario surface used on the floor and walls... I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions!...See MoreEric Bryant
