I think I'm going to try Lithops !

I'm a compulsive gardener and seem to want plants and gardening things around me at all times, but am forced to leave home twice for up to 15 days each time every winter. This has reduced my windowsill gardening to a couple of Kalanchoe and a few larger pots which dry slower but hog all my space.

This Spring I was given a Stapelia noid and it's performance has caused me to look into succulents for an answer. I really like the idea of Lithops which not only tolerate, but seemedly DEMAND low care in Winter months. I've even gone so far as ordering a packet of Mixed Lithops seeds on eBay, but before I dive in over my head, I'd like more info. Also wondering if Argyroderma would be good under the same care as Lithops, as I would love those magenta blooms and Lithops seem all to be either white or yellow.
