If its a cabin the country, you may want to go with darker color to hide dirt if that is an issue, Old pine can be very warm/orange oi without photos its hard to help you.

Can we see a picture? With wood walls you don't really want a couch that matches them or it will be too much of the same. Try breaking all of the tans up. Go for a lighter couch or maybe a color like a green.

The couch in there now hurts my back so much, I need to get a new one. Also I am in the process of furnishing it completely so don't pay attention to how bare it is. I'm going to get a white rug for the living room for sure to brighten it up. This photo was also taken on a day with no natural light really.

I'm thinking the green would probably look the best? It's just scary making a big purchase and not knowing if I'll like it or not. And yes that white sofa is vintage and isn't comfy enough. I'll probably end up moving it into another room we don't use as often.

I like the sofas you are considering, but if you want comfort, you really need to go to an actual store to try out the sofas rather than buying online. Without sitting in it, it is sometimes hard to tell whether the seat depth, arms, and cushions will be right for you.

I think having a sofa that’s a similar color as the walls will make it “disappear”. Perhaps a blue like the one posted above would look amazing, it has a neurtal/earthy feel to it.

I totally agree with calidesign. Neither of those sofas look comfortable. Go to an actual store and try them out. As far as color goes, the green or blue would be great in a cabin.

how about a jeans covered sofa? you can put any color pillows you like on it and it will go with any rug, youknow, just like your favorite jeans.

That sofa has great reviews. I think the tan may be a little brown overload, but could work with the right rug.

I personally love the color of the green sofa and it will looks so good in your warm and cozy space (which I Iove btw). I would always be sure to sit on a sofa before purchasing! I purchased one online and when I got it I was so upset. It was not comfy and I could not bear to even sit on it!

Agreed -- best way to buy a sofa is to sit on it. The retailer will deliver it to your place and make sure all is in order. I am going to guess that buying something like this online will require assembly of legs or some other thing. What if it comes damaged? We had a small leather ottoman delivered the other day. It seems that someone's detergent order was on the same fedex truck and somehow exploded! The boxed ottoman was ok but stunk like a ton of tide. These things happen... Good luck. Looks like a lovely place!!

Lyndee plaid/Pier 1. The best choice for your interior walls and floors! Than you can get a gold toned sofa. Or if you find the more traditional Scottish plaid, with various size stripes in the pattern/wide to small/, it will have green in it and white and red....a beautiful Red sofa, or Green sofa would be very pretty also. Gold, Green, Black Red, and White, are very pretty in your home. If you do not tolerate those colors well, I have seen rooms with very pretty lavendar/shades of purple -- and (sage) green colors of furniture. It give a very different vibe, but it is very pretty also.

Deep charcoal grey. It will make a nice contrast to the walls. Everything in the room is starting to blend together and it would be nice to have the sofa be an element of contrast.
