I could spare a few small cuttings of Hoya chinghungensis, if you could spare a small cutting of H. pachyclada. I prefer the variegated one, but green is fine, too. But, I'm looking for ones with the red edge only. This spring, I expect to have some rooted H. Maxima (red corona), as I have a ton of runners which should leaf out in spring. Any chance you have a variegated DS-70 in your collection? I have many in your list, so just ask.... Kathy

The plain green lacunosa is simply called "Hoya lacunosa" with no cultivar name at the end. (Pink Silver is a publicalyx cultivar ^_^)

For anyone who wishes to order hoyas from Thailand or any other foreign country for that matter,make sure that you can get a phyto certificate to accommodate your shipment before you pay for it. Customs has been getting their panties in a twist lately and destroying any shipments that are not accompanied by proper documentation. I had a rather large order of rare hoyas coming from Thailand that were shipped on 8/11. The box finally showed up at my house on 8/26. EMPTY!!!! All that was in it was a piece of paper from customs stating that the cuttings had in fact been inspected,were found to be insect and disease free but due to no phyto ( my fault) with the shipment ,my hoyas were destroyed. Bad part about it was that instead of the idiot inspector destroying the box as well, I mean hey if you trash the plants,trash the box too,they found it amusing to go ahead and send me the empty box. A letter would have been fine, my name and address were right on the box!!! The Thai vendor who is someone that i've dealt with for several years now was gracious enough to replace the shipment for me,with a phyto this time. That box was mailed last Monday 9/14,it arrived in N.Y. Saturday 9/19 and it was at my house yesterday 9/21,sent EMS. It took exactly 1 week from the day of shipment for me to receive the order and everything was in excellent condition. david

well most of the hoyas i've gotten in the mail are in there pots, i have a krimson queen that came as bare root. i've had it for several months and it looks good one week, and poor the next (back and forth, back and forth)lol. so i found one at lowes that was on a hoop. i took it off the hoop and made cuttings since my husband will not let me take a big plant like that to alaska, hope it roots up in a month and a half (please, please, please lol) but the only hoya that is still doing really good that was mailed in a pot is my p. pink silver. but i found a couple other nice hoyas i wouldn't mind and there is another snow cap up for action so we'll see how high up that goes. is there a trick to keeping hoyas that have been mailed from getting too stressed and dying? i know that the bare root option isn't a good one. my rope died and it was a bare root. thanks for clearing up the confusion on the "snow caps" labeling. now if they would just get one in at a store near hear that i would have better luck with!
