Thanks for that, Digit! I will now be posting pics again—even if they only look like ugly links! I have SO many things blooming in my yard already I’ve been WANTING to post some pics! But have more I need to download/upload (never have figured out which is which!) into the computer first—that I hadn’t bothered since I “couldn’t” post them anyway! Will do it in the next couple days! I don’t have a google+ page! And I don’t intend to ever have one! If I sign up for google+ my WebAlbums will be TOTALLY messed up—as I discovered when I tried to help somebody, last fall, try to figure out how to use Picasa and WebAlbums! It’s a total mess in WebAlbums in “+”, and as near as I can tell, once you sign up for it it’s TOO LATE, and the “new and improved” version (NOT!) is all you have access to anymore. As a matter of fact, if some of your pics really did “disappear,” I wonder if that had something to do with it! I haven’t “updated” Picasa for a couple years either (I just keep telling it NO when it pleads with me to update it!) ‘cause I’m afraid that’ll somehow get me into the google+ version—and I won’t be able to opt out of it again! I REALLY don’t understand why these companies keep trying to “improve” something that’s already working really, really well! (google maps REALLY screwed up their “maps” too, IMO! But I still have a link to Olde Google Maps—that still works! If they ever discontinue the olde maps, I don’t have a CLUE what I’ll use for maps! Bing, IMO, is at least as bad as the “new” google maps! HELLO out there! STOP “fixing” things that don’t need fixing!!!) (And my avatar on FB, which I haven’t signed into for a year!, is an airplane! And that’s the only place I have an avatar at all!!!) I don’t know why you didn’t “need to” change your setting to “enable” PMing, but maybe that’s something else they’ve changed recently—like putting in the ability to enter your zone (tho I’m gonna leave mine in as my “last name!”) When I went to that page I had to change the settings to get them right to enable PMing. Maybe now it’s the default when GW folks get into the houzz site. But there is SOMETHING that needs to be “fixed” for David, because there’s no “message box” visible on His Page, and until that’s there, nobody can PM him. I’m sure it’ll all get straightened out! We are, gradually, getting back to “our old GW!” Never would have believed that when I showed up here the first day and went—SAY WHAT????? I’m really impressed with the admins and all they’ve done! A couple of months ago, there was a music related thread in this forum (you can find it with a search for - Ripping CDs for multiple use-). He tried to act authoritative on topics and techniques I'm very familiar with (my main hobbies of music and digital music). Frankly, he seemed to know rather less about the subject than his manner would have suggested. In the course of a discussion of several posts, he wrote a number of comments I thought were wrong. I responded politely but indicated what I thought he was misinformed about. 10 hours after my post, he completely changed one post I'd responded to, removing the incorrect comments he'd made and essentially orphaning my comments such that they referred to earlier comments of his that now didn't exist. The old Gardenweb software (for which I hold no unnecessary nostalgia, believe me) did have a useful feature that would add a time stamp when edits were made. The new Houzz forum routines don't do that. He didn't like being caught. His response to my calling him out concerning his long after the fact changes was a series of prevaricating comments. I don't have time for people like that.

I have a bookmark to RMG as well. I haven't been coming to the forum that much in the last few months, so not sure if it changed awhile back or if it's a recent change! I added a clip of what it looks like for me now. I put red lines around that parts I don't remember being like that before. I definitely don't remember having to select topics, and the other things I circled. I think the part at the top that you use to make a new post is a little confusing because it says 'what are you working on?' - doesn't really apply to RMG, and I first thought that it might post to Houzz in general and not RMG. But I think it gave me a choice afterwards that I had to select to where I wanted it posted. Again, I don't remember having to do that before because I was on the RMG page, so it knew to post there! It's ok, just got to get used to it!! Does it look like this to you? I use Firefox browser, and am on Windows 7.

I don't access Garden Web on my phone (Android) at all, so I have no idea about how things work there. I have Windows 10, with all current updates, on my PC, and was using IE 11, also with whatever updates might be current. But things just weren't working right on KT, so I've switched to Chrome, and everything seems to be working fine now. (Except maybe the user.) At least I haven't come across any problems yet. Mostly, so far it's just unlearning old habits and replacing them with new ones. I really don't care for this font, but maybe I can figure out how to change it. Hopefully everyone will get all the 'bugs' worked out soon, and we can all go back to enjoying the KT! It would have been so nice it Houzz had at least given us some advance notice of the drastic changes before they just slapped us with it! Rusty
