well that is NOT what it says to replace the text with it says to replace the existing text with http://www.google.com/webhp?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 What you posted is the link to the article. open a firefox window type in about:config in the address bar and hit enter in the filter search line then type in keyword.url it will automatically bring up that line double click on the entry in the list which is keyword.url that will open the box that you need to alter, the contents of the box will be hilighted blue when it comes up just hit delete key and it will delete everything in that box, then copy and paste this entry below into that now vacant box line http://www.google.com/webhp?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 click OK

firefox is a more secure browser than IE and it has so many great add-ons that you can put on it to do all kinds of things that make life easier. It is very customizable. In fact there was an article some time back by homeland security suggesting people start using firefox over IE because of some of the security issues, granted there have been patches and IE is somewhat better than it was but firefox in my opinion is so much better. Yes you can certainly still use outlook express that is an email client and really has nothing to do with your browser and it is not like you get rid of IE you still have it there you just add firefox to the pc. You can switch between the 2 and have both up and running at the same time there is no problem having both. IF you want to use firefox you just click the firefox icon, if you want to use IE click the IE icon simple as that. When you go through the install of firefox it will ask you if you want to move your favorites, settings and such from IE say yes and it will add all of your stuff to firefox so you lose nothing, it will now be on both. But be aware that it also will ask if you want to add google toolbar and possibly some other stuff but you have the option to check or uncheck any of those, I do not get any of the added stuff, I can always add what I want later. IT will ask if you want to make firefox the default browser you do not have to make it the default you can leave IE the default if you prefer that is fine and will not affect how it works. If this is the tutorial then yes this is a good one, a few things may look a little different but basically still good. tutorial this one tells all about the extensions or as they are called now add-ons and how to use them. extensions or add-ons

I've never connected the tablet directly to the pc. The pc is running Win7. In the past I've usually just gone directly to a youtube video without logging in, like Raven describes. I haven't changed any of my account settings on Youtube. But now when I go to the site on my pc I get a page that wants me to set up channels, and there isn't any way I can find to even get to the youtube home page. It's weird. I'm running Firefox 14.01. Settings might be the cause. I remember when I got the first tablet, playing with how the tablet browser displayed differently at sites using the android vs pc desktop display option inside the browser on the tablet. For a while afterwards when I visited sites like Huffpost, the site would ask which display I preferred. Thanks for the responses. I'll try to check the settings at Youtube.

I can read posts with mine but not post...everything gets jumbed and overwritten as I type. I am trying to see if its something with my Moto g4 phone or the Houzz website. I had to log into a pc to post this.
