firefox is a more secure browser than IE and it has so many great add-ons that you can put on it to do all kinds of things that make life easier. It is very customizable. In fact there was an article some time back by homeland security suggesting people start using firefox over IE because of some of the security issues, granted there have been patches and IE is somewhat better than it was but firefox in my opinion is so much better. Yes you can certainly still use outlook express that is an email client and really has nothing to do with your browser and it is not like you get rid of IE you still have it there you just add firefox to the pc. You can switch between the 2 and have both up and running at the same time there is no problem having both. IF you want to use firefox you just click the firefox icon, if you want to use IE click the IE icon simple as that. When you go through the install of firefox it will ask you if you want to move your favorites,settings and such from IE say yes and it will add all of your stuff to firefox so you lose nothing, it will now be on both. But be aware that it also will ask if you want to add google toolbar and possibly some other stuff but you have the option to check or uncheck any of those, I do not get any of the added stuff, I can always add what I want later. IT will ask if you want to make firefox the default browser you do not have to make it the default you can leave IE the default if you prefer that is fine and will not affect how it works. Here's what I would do, no guarantee if it would help: 1. Turn off the phone 2. Take out the battery 3. Wait a few minutes then replace the battery 4. Go outside away from buildings, trees, etc. 5. Turn on the phone, turn on GPS. 6. When it's booted up, start the Google Map app. Push the My location icon (it looks like a small bulls-eye). Give it a few moments to find you. What does it show? The previous location (in cache) should be erased by the power off/battery removal procedure. If Google maps doesn't show you at your correct current location, I'd bet there's something wrong with your phone.

The Bold & Italics choices at the bottom of the comments box allows some editing. Good move as far as I'm concerned. The bold makes it much easier for me to read. I've had so many computer issues for the last 6 months, I was close to throwing them out the window after I.E. started "not working" over and over every day. Reluctantly I switched to Firefox last night. I imported all my I.E. favorites. It's not been as bad as I expected. Reentering passwords has been annoying and it will take a while for auto fill to know where I want to go. It WILL know, won't it? I.E. showed my most used sites on the new tab. Will/does Firefox do something similar?

Yes, ag. Try doing the same thing a different way (a different SMS app). If that provides the behavior you prefer, you win! Too often (I'm not at all referring to you), beginner level people insist that a problem or something undesirable needs to be resolved only in one specific way. "I'm not going to use a different browser", or "I'm not going to set it to clear history, then I'd have to sign in every time", or whatever. Users should always keep their eyes on the prize - if a particular behavior or outcome is preferred, it doesn't matter how it is achieved.
