Full/Queen vs Queen Beds
Comments (15)Nutsaboutplants, I barely notice that the mattress hangs out on bit on either side! (And your bed is really pretty too). I figure that I usually keep a bulky comforter folded at the bottom of our bed anyways & that always hangs out beyond the footboard of our current King and I can 'mask' the headboard overhang w/ strategically placed pillows. Thanks for posting the pic it really helped a lot! The pineapple finial is missing from the headboard and 3 of the wheels are missing. DH is getting a finial for me & sorting through his piles of furniture junk leftovers at the shop for 3 wheels but we probably won't use the wheels. As much as I love to see old wheels on furniture it just doesn't seem sturdy enough for a bed that sleeps 2 adults. I think that I'm going to paint it a high gloss white. Mr. Fox said that I can't swap out the king for the queen until we're closer to getting the house on the market but I don't know..........I'm very excited about the prospect now!!!!! Thank you!...See MoreWhere to look for kids beds? American made, full size
Comments (7)Unless you are short on space, consider getting queen size beds. They are more readily available, as are the sheets, comforters etc. Remember that kids don't stay little forever, and queen beds are a full 5" longer than doubles, while they are only 4" wider. Double/full mattress: 54" wide x 75" long Queen mattress: 60" wide x 80" long...See MoreBedroom set up Will two queen size beds fit in a 12 by 11 bedroom
Comments (6)Queen beds are 60x80 inches . Do the Math. Technically speaking, they "will fit". There will be very little room to move about the room and no other furniture would fit in the room. Seriously, unless you're running a brothel, why would you do this? If you had to, then consider https://m.colemanfurniture.com/lake-house-stone-full-loft-bed-with-full-lower-bed.htm?gclid=Cj0KCQjwm6HaBRCbARIsAFDNK-jYlciAmgQCi8aSCTPPfjKnCmi_Rr_Qt5aRr9v7WxHCXn8POCKFSHQaAh3dEALw_wcB...See MoreNeed Help with setting up a Teen Room-2 full beds and 2 nightstands
Comments (9)You clearly said "2 full beds" and my comments were based on that. The living arrangement you described should work well with my idea. The girls will each have a side of the closet for their items when they're with you, and you'll have the big closet plus the one in your room. Not sure which of the illustrated parts of the slider is the moving one. If it is the center one, then you could leave that exposed, drape or make a canopy over each bed located at the sides of that access door with the nightstands on the outside left and right of the bed arrangement. My parents had 2 full beds in their bedroom and it can work very well. This with the slider door between the beds. Picture this with the closets on the right and the slider door between the two draped beds. The bed canopy idea done with a simple cornice and panels. Solid drapes behind the beds could pull closed over all the exposed sliders at night....See Morequeenvictorian
