We live just southeast of Phoenix, and have already wasted a lot of money on star jasmine plants for our trellis. The first pair of plants initially thrived and blossomed...until they were overrun with spider mites. We tried many different techniques to rid the plants of the mites but to no avail. We ordered two more star jasmine plants, this time younger plants, and purchased new large pots for them. However, we decided to hold off on re-potting them until they had a chance to grow a bit. We never got the chance to re-pot them, because, once again, a spider mite infestation killed them. We have other plants that remain untouched by spider mites. We have a beautiful wrought iron trellis that's standing empty right now, and we'd like a fragrant vine for it. We love wisteria, but it looks like it's not an option for us, since we don't want to waste money on more high-risk plants. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I purchased Johnson hand-scraped walnut flooring in 2012 from a local dealer. They installed it through the entire first floor living and kitchen area of my home and did a great job. The total cost was ~$28,000. The floors were beautiful. My wife and I were happy. Our selection of this product was based on a lot of research on websites like this one. Our final decision was based on reviews, perceived quality, and warranty. Price was a factor, but not as critical as the other factors mentioned since we planned to enjoy these floors for as long as we were around. Only my wife and I live in the home and I always remove my shoes when coming into the house and we keep the floors like furniture. About a year ago. I started noticing that the urethane finish on the ridges of the hand scraped finish were fading and dull. It has become very noticeable. I called the supplier and was glad to know I had a 35 year warranty and the issue with my floor would be backed by Johnson. Today, I received a response from Johnson stating that my problem was normal wear and tear and not covered under warranty. I thought I did my due diligence on the front end by selecting what I thought was a reputable manufacturer with a solid customer support network. Knowing what I know today, I would not recommend these floors if you need more than 4 years of service. My wife and I were really disappointed with the lack of support we were provided and I am only posting this to provide insight for others who may be considering a decision like the mistake we made by purchasing Johnson floors.

Pepperdine is in Malibu, CA ... 'nuff said. :-) Seriously, it is a pricey private college on a beautiful campus high above Malibu. That's about all I know. Jodi-

New Hampshire Seacoast! LOL we always joke about that. I had no Idea they even named it. It must be about a mile of seacoast that poor state gets! I went to get a map to show you, and this one came up: https://smile.amazon.com/Posterazzi-Collection-United-States-Josefina/dp/B07NWXVT9J/ref=asc_df_B07NWXVT9J/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=492296907568&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2175888936393275893&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9003451&hvtargid=pla-1158797446545&psc=1&sa-no-redirect=1 To add insult to injury, this map abbreviates New Hampshire as "NE," which, is, umm, Nebraska. Maybe they meant Nebraska Seacoast ? NH ("NE") is the pale orange one cozying up to VT. Maine and Massachusetts hogged all the coast. They left them a port and thats about it. Though Portsmouth is cute!
