Comments (16)I'm afraid these curtains don't work. I would keep the focus on the rug and other items and find a heavier material in a solid cream material, or a very subtle cream and blue pattern, and your room will take on a whole different look. The white chair is in an awkward place, you don't have room for it there. Can you place it at the other end of the couch, perpendicular to the sofa? Or, is it possible to move the sofa further away from the chair, and then find a much smaller (apartment-sized) chair to put in the place of the very big one? To be honest, your rug also appears to be too small for your space. It should extend forward another two feet to give more coverage and extend under the gray chair. This rug is pretty, and I hope there is another place where you might use it. You really need mood lighting with a table lamp or two, which would make your scheme look much more complete, and the lighting would be more flattering than a harsh overhead light. I hope you have some paintings on other walls and perhaps books here and there to make this room look complete. Right now it's not a cozy and welcoming space for friends or family....See Morehelp with coffee tables/ side tables
Comments (3)I have posted and deleted my ideas 3 times. I’m having trouble with the rug. Is it my monitor? I see yellow and green undertones and no correlation with your walls and sofa, so I am suggesting these Durable pillows from etsy.com to tie in what I see. One idea…between the two chairs, something with a hint of the nail head sheen and a matte gray body would work. Love this little table…on sale at Wayfair for $90.00 and the body of the table is a faux shagreen....See MoreCoffee table , side table and / or ottoman suggestions for living room
Comments (11)I really Ike the colors and patterns that you have in the space. It is not so easy to combine patterns the way you have done. You seem to have a natural flair for this. I had also thought of a solid ottoman in an orange, as being an interesting possibility. i like the overstock piece, also. I was thinking, with your white sofa + red pieces, a color like this might also work. https://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Handy-Living-Duncan-Parisian-Tan-Gray-Velvet-Large-Tufted-Cube-Ottoman/8119649/product.html this one is out of stock right now, but just to show the idea/option. Although I might lean towards an untufted piece, since all of your furniture has some tufting detail....See Moreingrid_vc so. CA zone 9
