You've got a good start, nice choices. Now you have to give us some help. I see your have a start with contemporary pieces. What colors do you like, will the room be casual or more formal. Do you prefer fabrics or leather, what type of art, do you prefer drapes or window coverings? Give us some info and we can offer help but we have to know your preferences to some degree.

I'm thinking of a more casual/contemporary look. I'd like an accent chair as well. I prefer drapes over window coverings. I'm thinking neutrals, teal or lavender for colours. I prefer fabric over leather.

I'm thinking of having a large area rug for the living room area. I think once we have drapes and a nice carpet, the room will feel more homey/cosy.

I'm just having a really hard time finding coffee tables and tv stands that will work well together and also look nice with the furniture that we currently have.

Okay so now you will get the help you want. We have very talented people, just give them a little time. I would look for a rug first, do you have any idea of what size? I would imagine you wouldn't want bold so something more muted, right?

Yes, definitely something more muted. I think I'd like to add accent colours with cushions, chairs etc.

For the coffee table, we would like to keep it under 500 and same with the TV stand. Since the couch has black legs, would it be best to have the coffee table similar in colour?

What you have so far looks very nice and will make a nice backbone for your room. But I think if you continue with white/cream/chrome you will end up with a very ethereal room. I think the room would benefit from some contrast, with the coffee table and TV stand in black or dark wood. Maybe black frames around some art on the wall. When everything else is light, it doesn't take a lot of a dark color to have an impact.

If you prefer to keep the big elements light colored, you could bring in a dark color through pillow, art, etc.

And here are a couple that kept everything light. I don't find these as interesting, but you may disagree.

This one at least has a darker floor, which you don't have.

I would try and find a deeper colored rug with some various colors. Everything is currently monotone and light in color. I think some contrast would be great and something to ground your space.

I would add color to the rug but make it muted color.
