Growing wild in the Oconee Nat. Forest. Some were 8' tall.

Comments (3)One looks like Tall fescue, and the other Dallis grass. The Dallis grass( and other weeds in the picture) can be killed with 'Bayer advanced all in one'. The Tall fescue has to be sprayed with 'Round up' the resulting dead spot re-seeded a couple weeks later....See MoreWhat type of Grass?
Comments (9)This is a Carex, such as C. annectens, triangularis, fissa, etc., etc., etc. Most of the 636 recognized US species are indeterminate by looking at Internet photos, which are often carrying incorrect labels.
