Experience with Arhaus furniture?
Comments (4)Tonight while waiting to meet a friend, I wandered into a store because I had gotten a catalog and it looks a lot like restoration Hardware and I was curious. I fell in love with a mirror and went back after dinner and ended up not just buying the mirror but a couple of lights and a dining room table and chairs. Couple of things that sold it for me, made in the USA, lifetime warranty on all furniture, this weekend is tax free weekend in Texas and they are matching the 8 1/4 percent off and pre-selling, plus they will hold and ship for me to Colorado 5 months from now when I need it. Also, until they ship it, I can modify my order and cancel it if necessary. So, is there any reason to be wary of this brand?...See MoreI think I hate my new dining room chairs ...
Comments (43)Change the chair seats, the LIGHT add curtains, Add a rug.......It isn't decorated yet!! Do the table switch last........ The light is Hubbardton Forge, The rug is an 8 x 10 charcoal sisal , 225.00 There's a lot of junk in tables, with finishes that will not hold up. .............switch the table last. Or paint what you have, to a soft black top, and white base. This is a minefield category of junkola out there. Arhaus on the one below........save your money : ) https://www.denverfabrics.com/p242131_66467-greypeachpink-plaid-linen https://www.lightology.com/index.php?module=prod_detail&prod_id=207623...See MoreWhich sofa: Arhaus or Room & Board?
Comments (25)Hi everyone, glad to see this post resuscitated! In the end, to my own surprise, we ordered the C&B Axis II sectional. I spent an hour with a Room & Board designer and was all set to order couches there, but I brought my teenager to test the options and it was clear that it wouldn't work. He's 6'3" and every sofa he sat on looked like kiddie furniture. I really really would have loved to get the beautiful Arhaus white sofas but I realized I was going to spend every day anxious about an errant glass of chocolate milk. I did investigate the higher end options, but in the end the Axis was the most practical option. We'll see - our reno is moving really quickly now and hopefully we'll be moved back in by early/mid March with the new furniture. Will post an update then....See MoreDurable Kitchen Dining Table
Comments (11)"Oxidized iron" means rust. From the description: "As iron is prone to rust, avoid contact with excessive moisture." So that means not getting water on a dining table? And how do you wipe off spaghetti sauce or milk if you can't use soapy water or any of the cleaners they recommend avoiding? And if you wipe off the rust, your cleaning cloth will carry the rust so it could get rust on something else. What happens if your white sleeves touch the rusty top? For my $3300, I'd rather have something easy to clean with just as much style. A live edge wood table with a water-safe finish would be much better, for example....See MoreUser
