Have you purchased cabinet hardware from Going Knobs?
Comments (6)Adding my review for future reference of anyone searching. I placed a sample order from GoingKnobs of all sizes in a pull/cup/handle style that I was planning to order. They were the best price I could find on some Top Knob brand hardware, and they also did not charge sales tax. I received those samples very quickly. I prepared a fairly large order - about 150 separate items which included their regular pricing (already the lowest), a special promo for 15% off, free shipping, and as stated above - no sales tax to my state. For an order that was approximately $1400, the sales tax matters. But before I submitted the order, I contacted customer service with my full order and asked if that was the best price they could do. Although it took a couple of days for them to get back to me, they did reduce the price a little more (every little bit matters). This made their pricing BY FAR less expensive than any other shop I could find. I placed my order, and it was received in two large boxes within about a week. I was prepared for there to be some miscount because it was a large order of the same 3 items but in every size available. But to my surprise, the order was 100% correct. Between the pricing, the shipping speed, and the 100% accuracy of my order, they exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely order from them again and recommend them highly....See MoreAdvice on cabinet hardware - pulls or knobs on doors?
Comments (4)i like the cup pulls with the knobs....the cup pulls seem modern/streamline and the pulls seem more industrial which to me does not go together. the cup pulls and knobs would look great together, IMHO and i like the mixing of shapes i would do the island in the same graphite finish, not the satin nickel.......See MoreFixtures, knobs, door hardware. Comments (5)Our doors arrived with black hinges. Generally you're able to specify the finish for hinges. Was this not an option? As Alison said, pictures would help a lot, of both your kitchen and also the light fixtures and pulls you're considering. Especially since I'm not quite clear on what this -- "My style is traditional with a tidbit of county" -- look like. I had planned on oil rubbed lighting, cabinet pulls, and plumbing fixtures. Some of the better ORB finishes are darker and look almost matte black to the eye. My cabinets are cream colored and the appliances are going to be stainless steal. When I realized our sink would be stainless steal too, I thought the ORB faucet would look funny with all the SS, but then again won't the SS faucet look funny with the ORB pulls? I would choose a stainless steel faucet. No, it wouldn't look funny with ORB pulls because stainless steel or chrome tends to be the default for faucets. People expect the kitchen faucet to be something like stainless steel or chrome. ORB tends to read as trendy, and in your kitchen with all the other ORB elements, it could also look a bit too matchy-matchy....See MoreKitchen Cabinet Hardware - Silver or Gold? Pulls or Knobs?
Comments (1)I think it depends on the rest of the spaces and the lighting as to what color pulls and knobs.I prefer pulls everywhere and in proportion to the cabinets I never like 2 knobs or pulls on drawers and what do you have the wings on either side of the over hang.? What is the floor going to be ?IMO pulls are one of the last choices to make along with wall color and backsplash..Those choices should be made after making sure all lighting is LED in 4000K. As for timeless I think more important is what you love the next guy can change the pulls and knobs to whatever they love....See MoreHope M
