Which floor is more versatile for wall paint colors?
Comments (18)So I'm back to the bamboo, and a friend convinced me to consider this maple. Maple certainly is clean and keeps to a great contemporary theme (I'm worried that this bamboo isn't contemporary). But what's your guys' opinion on the maple? Thumbs up or down? Contemporary but yet too akin to kitchen-like?...See MoreWhich paint color for brown/gray sofa and loveseat?
Comments (4)Paint colors are usually best selected to work with the fabrics and textiles in a room. Your sofa is pretty neutral, so what else do you have that provides color? Rugs, drapes, pillows, throws, other accessories?...See Morewhich accent colour for grey bathroom
Comments (10)Do you get a lot of natural light? I have SW Monorail Silver in one room that gets a ton of light and it looks great (it's a blue/gray). But in another room with no natural light it looked aweful when I tried it. If you like greens and blues, get a SW fan deck and look in the "Neutrals" section from about card 217 to 239. A lot of people like SW Sea Salt. I have used SW SIlverpointe (very light green/gray), but again it's in a room with a lot of light. SW Passive is nice too (very light blue/gray). You can definately use a color; doesn't have to be gray or white. My friend actually painted her white/marble bathroom walls pink! But it wasn't bublegum pink, or little girl pastel pink. The color was toned down and muted a bit....See MoreWhich couch color for dark grey walls?
Comments (9)those walls are not that dark. for versatility, I'd choose a grey couch that's darker than your walls. then you can add color with lots of bright accessories. maybe consider a new coffee table in a lighter wood tone. the bonus is that it will actually not look as dirty (dust really shows up on dark wood furniture). or if you have your heart set on a more colorful couch, a dark teal or navy blue will look good here. you'll still want to add bright accessories to lighten up the space. what are those dark lines on the floor? is that a rug on top of your carpet?...See More- 5 years ago
