Funny, because we are in the process of picking paint for our soon to be finished basement. I picked Revere Pewter w/Chelsea Gray on one accent wall. I know homeagain has posted pics of her Chelsea Gray home office and Revere Pewter in foyer -- they look nice together in her pics. I was also considering Ashley Gray on accent wall (more brown, though). So, I'm interested in opinions, too.

Here are 2 colours that work really well with BM Revere Pewter. OC-20 is called Pale Oak. I've used all 3 together and they look great IMO. I'd struggle to put a dark colour on my ceiling but with the height you have, it might be really nice. Where my Revere Pewter and Rockport Grey come together, it is sometimes hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. I'm not sure if that is what you are looking for, or maybe you want more contrast. In my house, which has a lot of natural light from south facing windows there is a definite green tone to both the Rockport and the RP. But my sister has RP in her house and it is most definitely taupe or greige when contrasted against mahogany trim and lots of natural light, mainly north facing windows. It can be a tricky colour for some, so best to try it out in many places and in different lights (daylight and night, but also different colours of lightbulbs can make a huge difference too) I don't envy whoever has to climb up there and do all that painting!

some of these may work better w/the brown tones. if doing a tile splash, bring in something w/some variation, like that tile here. I also gave you a warm ORB hardware choice. the tiny nickel knobs just disappear. notice the runner w/the warmer whites/tans and soft blues. The soft blue is a natural coordinating color w/your browns. I like the warm wood stools. perfect choice. now bring in some other colors (like the soft blues or greens) warmer whites, and the stone colors for the walls. last thing you want is a gray. I like these tiles too. Bedrosians Makoto Tatami beige Tilebar Byzantine Latte is also a nice color Lunada Bay agate taiko cortona Also Tilebar Cloe Tile-Cream now this would be amazing... I believe it's Seneca tiles, copper brown blend. (they have regular subways too) Look how good this looks you can't use anything bright white against those cabs. it will only make them look dingier. you need creamy off-whites in the yellow zone Repainting those cabs will be well above the 6K mark. repainting the walls, removing the brown backsplash, and tiling w/one of these, will make a world of difference, and be cheaper

A mini buffet of possibilities. No way to know if the Lowe's version of the colors is accurate without measuring them - could be spot on, might be miles off. Existing wall color is strong. It's going to influence how you're seeing new swatches If it's just one coat, it's not enough. Need two coats for proper film thickness thus color rendering. Yes, it could be the light and other stuff too. Colors influence each other. The color relationship of anything "orange" in nearby context of lower chroma, near neutral colors, like Revere Pewter and Colonnade Gray, from this hue family can make them look blue/purple/purple-blue. Home brand BenM and SW versions of Revere Pewter and Colonnade Gray are nearly identical. Biggest difference is Chroma: Colonnade is slightly less colorful, more gray than Revere Pewter - most people would probably not even notice a difference.
