which way to do flooring??

Okay, so they start installing main level flooring tomorrow and they asked my husband today which way we want the flooring laid - there is an angled room and when they start going straight along the great room wall, they can either stop at the opening of the angled room and then lay it separately or just go straight across to the far corner of the angled room. That second way will have the flooring at a 45 degree angle in that room. The disadvantage to stopping and then going a different direction is that there will need to be some sort of transition strip between the rooms. Thoughts?? Here are some pics to hopefully clarify.
