I do love the look of a lighted mirror but I dislike how they cast light on the face. I also live with a stickler that wants to be able to change the bulbs if need be. Thank you though.

That Hazelnut Cream is pretty, and it led me to Candle White. The other colors on the CandleWhite card seem to work better in the bedroom, so that might be the pick. I think the bedroom color could work in DH’s office (the bedroom next door), but then we’d have 3 tints-of-brown bedrooms upstairs. DS#1’s room is kind of khaki and we are not painting that. DS#2’s room is blue. So DH’s office will probably be more neutral. It’s the smallest of the bedrooms and faces north, so it could use a lighter color. I think DS has chosen the hall bath color. It‘s so nice to have the upstairs hall painted the same color as the foyer now! It was China White, which I’m sure is a nice color but not in a sunless space. Now it’s Hepplewhite Ivory, which looks like sunlight in my house.

Yes, my original thought was a nearly continuous mirror but the glass folks actually said, “we sell glass for a living but in your case more mirror isn’t necessarily what is called for”. Lol. They were very nice about it. So that got me thinking a bit more about the function of the space. We need more storage and lighting.
