Need a floor plan with measurements and door and window measurements and placement. What do you want to use this for? TV? Conversation? Gathering? Eating? Need to know what rooms are next to it.

We will need to be very creative with that budget. But it’s great you are thinking about it together now, because with a master plan you can add items as funds allow. We might want to keep your style to a “transitional” look and rely on accessories for punching up different looks. I would start with sofa, rug and one or two chairs plus a sofa table and arc lamp for living room. What do you need for bedroom? Dining room?

Q - is that a 90 degree corner where walls meet? Just asking because third photo makes it look like far wall is angled vs. squared. I have an odd shaped island in my kitchen (has five sides instead of four) - but that’s because my kitchen has a u-shaped cabinet area with one angled wall (over 90 degrees where one set of walls meet). I never really thought about it being an odd shape until I started hanging out on Houzz 18 months ago! I can’t change the angle because it’s an outside wall (well, I could but it would be $$$!) Luckily, I had builder make it all one level when I designed my kitchen MANY years ago (he thought it was a really bad decision to not raise the end where stools go - but I never liked raised bars on islands - was difficult to find counter height stools - had to cut legs down!) Also, I don’t have any appliances in island - so, lots of work space. I’ve never understood odd shaped islands in kitchens that don’t have an angled wall. If your walls are 90 degrees - I would definitely change the shape (if you are willing to spend the money to do so). Would the aisles work better if you turned the entire island 90 degrees so it runs parallel with sink wall? Looks like you would have to rethink your table area. Do you have a dining room also - or is this the only area for a table? If you need extra seating at a table in your kitchen, you could either (i) incorporate a table at the end of your island: or (ii) do some sort of built in seating along the walls: I’ve seen some along walls with lower windows - a former neighbor bought some lower banquette seating at Pottery Barn to use in front of two walls with lower windows - looked great.

Create a room within a room by separation- using two sofas (or sofa/loveseat/sectional), one facing towards the bay window and one the partial wall. Make the partial wall the accent wall with paint and art. The rectangle in front of it is a Barcelona bench. There is a coffee table for the two sofas. The arrows are the traffic pattern from the front door, enforcing the separation by keeping you from walking right into the seating area. Still not sure about the cubbie on the right, perhaps a reading nook with easy chair, bookcase and floor lamp as a reading lamp. Are you planning on eating in here? Then swag the chandelier closer to the half wall for a smaller dining area. Otherwise no chandelier. This is only a concept rendering and not to scale. You will have to determine the exact placements:
