Regan Nursery is now accepting orders
Comments (5)My first order arrived yesterday. Got four huge roses soaking now... MOTHER OF PEARL, ESTELLE, JULIO IGLESIAS and SOLITUDE. I just placed my second order a few days ago. It'll be coming probably next week. That one will be THE IMPOSTER, CALIFORNIA DREAMIN', DAWNING MOMENT and CRIMSON FLAME. Can't wait! I order from them nearly every yr. This yr, they have a more extensive collection than I've seen in awhile. As for the shipping and handling.... it's not all that much for me being in CA. I can understand you guys who live farther East not liking the shipping charges. That's just like us in CA ordering from Roses Unlimited. The shipping is often more than the rose itsself!! But, if no one else has the roses you want, you sometimes just have to bite the bullet and pay the price to get what you want!...See MoreRegans is Taking Bareroot Orders for 2010
Comments (6)Thanks terryjean! Now, another problem I am facing is I bought a Maria Stern this spring and received a nice rose, but infected with RMV! I am thinking of replacing her with Easy does it, but I'm not sure I should plant another rose there. Even if I manage to get the roots out, I can't be sure I've gotten ALL the roots. So, I am still thinking about it for now....See MoreRegan online bare root ordering will end soon (Jan 31st)
Comments (29)I got 'Cherry Frost', 'The Pilgrim' (to replace one I lost to RRD), and 'Good Day Sunshine'. Can't find GDS anywhere else (yet) - thanks for the warning to get these ordered, Bayarea_girl! I'm confident 'Cherry Frost' will show up at own-root vendors like Northland, High Country, and Roses Unlimited in the next few years, but a 2-year old bareroot is a good jumpstart for climbers. GDS is grafted - I'd prefer own-root like the other two, but I don't know if/when we'll see this one hit other vendors. May the roses you want be in stock, and good luck with your bare-roots Gardenweb!...See MoreMy Regan order- late or never?
Comments (22)Sylvia , I’ve been super pleased with their service . Costco feels like a cattle herding service . So impersonal, no one ever ever helps or offers unless you stop them in their tracks . When I go to sams I am offered help to my car if my load seems big and if they don’t offer I ask and they are so happy to do so. Those bags of soil get so heavy after a while ! When I found the white pots , a girl had just cranked the pallet out from the back . I gasped and said oh my gosh how much are those ? She happily unwrapped them , scanned it , and went and got me a flat bed , loaded it for me and took it to the front since I had my baby in a cart ! That’s service !!! I love sams club !! Summers , they are popular in the south, or where when they were made !! I do follow someone in Ny who has the matching settee!! What a find . I’d be so thrilled if I found one . Here’s a snap of hers . There is some amazing garden inspiration on Instagram!...See Moreac91z6
