You can't just decide on a color palette for accessories when those colors don't match the hardscapes in that room that you're not changing. Your floor and vanity counter top are not going to match with black, white and pink. So you can't just start using those colors. And no, black, white and pink is not going to look sophisticated. You need to scratch that idea, and stick with the neutral colors that you already have in that space. And don't put a cat statue on the back of a toilet. It could fall and break, and it's off putting to see an animal in a private space like that where you are trying to convey an image of cleanliness.

You have a gorgeous blank canvas (I covet that tub!), and I would bring in your colors in bath mats (or area rug if there's room), towels, and additional bathroom accessories. My initial inclination is to not add a valance to the window, but that actually might be a good place to bring in some more of your desired "glam" and your color palette. The wall over the tub is a great place for a large, striking painting. (You can have artwork in any bathroom that's properly ventilated.) I can also envision a large vintage black-and-white photo over the tub (matted in white, with a thick black frame). I would change the mirror frame to a simple white, and let your accessories add the "sparkle". (Speaking of sparkle, a pink glass jar and/or soap dish would be pretty on your vanity.) I would try not to overdo the accessories, but bring in just enough to give some life to the space, in the way that you so desire.

I don't think black, white, and pink is going to be the most successful colors in that bathroom. They read very modern, while the warmer tones in the space are more traditional. Also, animal prints just never read sophisticated IMO.

If you really love the whole zebra theme, going for a more safari vibe with greens, tans, and prints might work better.

Black white and pink says retro 50s to me, which is not your room. Beige, taupe, brown and white is your palette. Try accents in those colors.

Do you have another room where you can indulge the black, white, and pink passion? I agree with the others about this bathroom. It is vanilla and brown and unless you paint and change the floor, counter, and backsplash, you are not changing that too much. How do you feel about brown, cream, and apricot? Honeydew?

I don't think pink will be very successful with your floor and countertop. Here's a very pale pink wall...

I do love retro black and pink but I see now that what is there already - the vanity and the floor are going to over ride what I like. Already removed the zebra frame and building a white one - looks more modern already. Not thrilled with tan/beige/browns so was trying to get in a color I liked - now maybe pink as an accent? (BTW- the cat is a candle and there because it's black & matched the zebra photos) I am trying to rethink and rework my wants vs. what the room dictates......... WherePink, my bathroom colors are similar to yours, as I believe you can glean from the picture above with my cat. While not shown in this pic, my accent colors are primarily greens, with some purples/pinks in the mix. Just because the walls and floor are in the beige family doesn't mean that you can't have the colors you love. You might just have to incorporate them in subtler ways than initially planned.

Geez, the cat is not a real cat. And certainly pink and black can be sophisticated. It depends on the shade of pink and the textures. And I think pink can work with tans/creams/browns - once again depending on the shades and textures. Deep rose in a shiny finish perhaps. The photos are perhaps a "bit" over the top, but they show pink and black (and brown) do not have to look retro or childish.

I agree that the pallette is too earthy for smth like blush pink or lavender pink or fuschia pink..but. if you love peachy pink -that's what could work very well. Do you like peachy pink? Not everyone does-yet it does illuminates one's complexion:) And-it can be very cool with touches of black

I'll look a bit into what I have saved etc..maybe some accessories that'll give idea of that combo..if today will allow me to do that..

I love this little ceramic stool myself so I remembered it..I think: will work as a good surface for soap, book etc next to a tub..colors are good..pink is earthier..a bit of glam that you seem to like..what do you say?

I also found couple nice rugs but these wouldn't work since they're tufted..I think should be either washable ,or if going for real deal-then hand knotted..these are very resistant to moisture

If you really, really need/want pink, I'd suggest looking at the more coral or peach and brown/gold color combinations (not black). Like april's find above.

Or maybe a darker red/burgundy.
