Does this graft look healed?

3 weeks post, only my second grafting attempt and so I don’t want to rush it (but am eager to see it done).

Also, 2nd photo shows that I used an old grown-out rootstock (scion apparently died, I got this free from a closed-down business). Can I air-layer this branch off of the main plant? Main plant is a bunch of shoots that have grown up around a dead trunk. Should I wait to do that until spring? (Zone 7b, these will come indoors sometime in October or November).

By the way, the scion I used is the trimming from the NZL that sprouted 3 new branches from one spot (from [this thread[(https://www.houzz.com/discussions/help-me-figure-out-if-this-growth-is-above-graft-or-below-graft-dsvw-vd~5385368?n=11)). The scionwood was so green that it flopped over right after grafting, but then straightened almost back out shortly thereafter.
