Thank you for all responses/advice. Very helpful/useful. Excavation is supposed to start this week (that's how early we are in the build, no dirt has been dug yet). Cabinets have not been ordered yet (but need to decide/order soon). I do not like the idea of having the kitchen in the front of the house (where the dining room currently is), irregardless if a wall separates it from the entry foyer. What is most important to me is an open concept between the kitchen and great room. Moving the kitchen to the front of the house is not an option. Additionally, I do like the idea of having a more "formal" dining room, rather than a common eating area shared with the great room. I spent anywhere from 1-3 hours in the kitchen daily between cooking/near the stove, prepping, and washing dishes by the sink. I want to see the great room and converse with whomever is in there. Having said that, I don't like any plans with spending majority of time staring/looking at the staircase, either regular staircase or stairs down to the basement. I've asked before - can't move the porch or add bay windows to the front of the house. :)

I'm not sure how to rearrange the furniture. Unfortunately, this room is our only TV room so we somewhat arranged the furniture to be functional. Ideally, I think the room would look better with 2 sofas facing each other with the shelving unit in the middle of the wall and perhaps a table by the windows but it would be too uncomfortable to watch TV sideways. The room is fairly large so I tried to fill it the best I could. I actually pulled the rug out from underneath the couches so as for it to be closer to the corner sofa couch to include it. If I move the corner couch closer to the couches, it floats in the middle of the room? As for the bench under the window, we use it daily!! The bench by the stairway was an extra that does not have a functional use but rather space filling features:-)

You could take the tile to Benjamin Moore and let them use a color meter/detector/scanner to read the color of the spot on the tile you want to match and either custom-blend something for you or point you to the nearest match. Always get a test pint and paint it on a large board or sheet of something or the wall itself before purchasing the gallons. The sheen can make a big difference in appearance of the color. I recently did a couple of rooms in Benjamin Moore's Aura paint from the Affinity collection in satin sheen, and it was initially a little more reflective than I had wanted, but I love it now, and it's very easy to clean if needed. Aura is the most water-resistant of the paints and good for kitchen areas.

If you want "white cabinets and white walls and trim" why include in your list paint colors that are not white? Do you want to use the same paint color everywhere? Then the only "creamy" choice is Dover White. Or are you asking for wall and cabinet colors that coordinate with Extra White or Dover White millwork (trim)? Are wall and cabinet colors to be the same? Then your only choices are Dover White, Drift of Mist, and Extra White as those are the only colors that appear on both lists; and Dover White is the only "creamy" color of those three.
