Is this a bad quartz countertop seam and sink installation??

Please, can someone help?! Is this a normal seam for a dark colored quartz counter? (It's Silestone Marengo) We had to have this counter replaced once already b/c it had a defective finish so this is counter #2. The seam on this one looks bad to us but the fabricator is saying it looks good and making us feel like we're 'too picky'. Also, when the 2nd counter was installed the edge was chipped so the installer cut 3/16" of it off and shoved it into our wall to make it fit. Looks weird and short. This caused the sink to be slightly off and now we have a large gap on all sides instead of being nearly flush to the countertop like it was before. We didn't have this with the first counter, either. Again, the fabricator says it looks good when we clearly had a better job the first time. Are we being too picky or does this look wrong to you? Any help is greatly appreciated.
