Comments (4)I have Stone House in my front hall/foyer/stairway and it works for me! I don't have my BM fandeck right here so I can't guess whether it would work for you. It looks like a pretty straightforward tan/beige in my space. Here's a not-great picture......See MorePlease help me choose a foyer light...
Comments (33)Is that a Kalco fixture? I looked at one in what I think it that same collection and loved it. The way it was hanging in the store reminded me of outdoor lanterns and I imagined camping and fireflies. Silly, I know, but talk about bringing the outdoors in! LOL It would be hanging in my breakfast room right now if it went with the kitchen fixture or I knew what to replace that one with. I suspect it may not be as large as your current fixture, but it has strong, simple lines and color, so I think it will still make a statement. The current one might be a bit too large for me anyway. I'd try to get measurements on that one if you can so you will have a better idea how it compares. If you want to hang it a little lower, you can probably order an extra down rod. I think it's worth pulling out the ladder and the measuring tape....See MoreHelp me find a proper white for my entrance hall
Comments (19)Benjamin Moore Linen White is a creamy white with yellow undertones. We have used it in our home in the LR, front hall, stairway and upstairs hall. It works well with either White Dove for the trim or Decorator's White. Re: your floors: Maybe consider painting the stair risers white. Your floors are beautiful! Add some area rugs and you'll have some color and protection in the entry area. From the BM site: Also known as Linen White OC-146. A decorator favorite, this light, creamy off-white is a never-fail neutral for walls, trim, doors and ceilings. As clean and comfortable as fresh linen, it relies on a yellow undertone for added warmth .http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/pm28...See MoreHelp me find a light for the foyer.
