Please share your experiences with English rose 'Eglantyne'
Comments (23)molinuex, I was on line searching some information and accidentally come back to this post. Wow, what a beautiful picture for SA. Actually, I have one SA already, but it's grafted on Dr.Huey. So I am thinking about getting an own root and hopely I can keep it longer this time. It sure is a winner compared to Eglantyne . When I look out of my window now, I can see my 3' high SA blooms like crazy (the flowers are smaller in summer though) and only has BS here and there. On the other hand, the giant 6' Egalantyne is covered with BS and has two or three tiny flower buds. Even, their are both under the guard the Bayer 3 in 1. Every time, when I walk pass Eglantyne, I just can hear he (or she) crying for a "spread"....See MorePlease share your experience with these Chinas
Comments (28)My Mme. Laurette Messime is from Chamblee's, in 2002. It doesn't look like the 'real' MLM, as I can't detect any yellow on the petal bases. But it certainly is a fine, happy rose. I'm NW of SA, & have only been here ~4 yrs. Previously lived sw of Houston, about 30 yrs. Old Blush here is new, an ARE plant. It's about 3.5' tall, a bit narrower & blooms all the time, in full sun. I hauled MLM up from the old place. She's about the same height, about 3.5' wide. I also added Natchitoches Noisette last year--it's been a heavy bloomer, very happy rose in full hot sun. If you want some baby plants, I've been running a bunch of cuttings under mist & have Little White Pet, Clotilde Soupert, Mme. Laurette Messime, Old Blush, Marie Pavie, a few teas, etc. These are little just-rooted babies, but if you'd like some, e-mail me & I can send in a couple of months when it's cooler....See MoreWomen's Marchers----share your experiences
Comments (119)My boyfriend and I were with the 250,000 in NYC. We came from his house in Brooklyn, and the subway was jam-packed. Got off at Grand Central Station onto a very crowded 42nd Street and got swept into the crowd up 5th Avenue. 10 blocks away from Trump Tower it was impossible to move even on 6th and Madison Avenues & crowds spilled over onto Park as well – the entire mid-town of Manhattan was taken over. There were men and women of all ages, colors, languages and persuasions and everyone was polite, helpful and respectful. I didn’t see any anti-protests. When we had dinner on 2nd Avenue I was shocked to see on TV the lying press conference by Sean Spicer. It was so much like the dictatorships in 3rd-world countries when he said this was the biggest inaugural celebration in history, period, and that's how it must be reported. Wow. We must keep up the fight....See MoreAre 9 inch pendants too small for a 10 foot island?

I highly recommend BarnlightElectric. i went with the farmhouse style but they have many different styles. They are great quality and made in USA. Good luck choosing your lights. I found sizing lights properly to be a challenge! BarnlightElectric...See Moremichoumonster
