I don't think those are Hyacinths..... hyacinths dont usually have prominent stamens like that do they? Maybe it's a special florist version? but, they look more like some kind of squill to me. tho- I have to admit, my garden squill heads rarely looks that nicely organized. Perhaps it's an exotic type squill.? I agree that the top picture has freesia. There also might be a little Festiva Maxima peony in there. It's a more fragrant peony. Thanks all. Our friends Mike and Judy live a couple of hours away. I made the bouquets at home, of course that day. Got of very early in the morning. I also cut loads of bows of the fairy rose. I have six of them, and it was a bumber crop, being in July. We took everything up island in coolers and I worked on the arch when I arrived at their home. They have beautiful waterfront property where the wedding took place. Making wedding bouquets, especially when you are not a professional is nerve wracking. I really would not want to make any more. Yes I did get lots of compliments on them, and of course the fragrance from these is just something you wold not get in florist bouquets. Pauline

Thanks Babka, The link gave me a few ideas....now just to find what flower(s) want to knit...lol. Love the knit bride and groom topper...maybe if get enough time (getting married in July), I can whip one up...lol.

Congartulations. Bouquet is very nice. Plant in square pot may be reacting to too much water - at least that's what my does when too wet. I wonder about drainage hole too. I am not sure if "only direct sun at the end of day" is really enough and especially indoors. Leaves will grow much better when in good light, not other way around. Not enough light will cause etiolation - stretching of the stems/trunks, week growth, leaves far apart, and usually lighter color of the leaves.
