I don't think those are Hyacinths..... hyacinths dont usually have prominent stamens like that do they? Maybe it's a special florist version? but, they look more like some kind of squill to me. tho- I have to admit, my garden squill heads rarely looks that nicely organized. Perhaps it's an exotic type squill.? I agree that the top picture has freesia. There also might be a little Festiva Maxima peony in there. It's a more fragrant peony. (the flower with the scarlet dashes of color) About ideas for you bouquet-- I was searching for rose hip pictures last night and stumbled up a great website for bouquet design. They had the most stunning blue and white bouquet. It is a lovely idea, to have home grown roses used in your daughter's wedding. Not to be discouraging, but I would hesitate to grow my own, just in case. You are at the mercy of weather, insects, disease, etc and it is hard to predict if you will have enough of them. You will need more bushes than you think, and growing them in pots, they may not be as vigorous as they would in the ground. If I were you, I would grow one type that you love, and purchase the rest. I am planning on doing the flower arrangements for my son's reception, its a small wedding so I think its manageable. Even so, I plan to buy roses in bulk online. I've had too many roses fall victim to aphids, japanese beetles, drought, too much rain, cane borers, black spot, and of course the many deer who find my rosebuds to be a culinary delight.

Take your Agavoides out of the water. This could start problems. Go to Home Depot or Lowes and get a bag of perlite and cactus mix. Idk where you live, but if you can I find pumice I personally think pumice is better than perlite, but perlite will do the job:). Get terra cotta pots. They should have drainage holes. Most people want to get pretty glazed pots, but those glazed pots don't allow for evaporation. Also don't get huge pots. Get appropriate sizes. Most succulents like to be crammed for space:). A mixture of 60% perlite or pumice with 40% cactus mix is good. The mix will be really light, but that's what you need for drainage and airflow. The one with roots just plant into the mix. Start off with morning sun and afternoon shade. In its condition I would give morning sun for awhile. That may be enough to keep it compact. I would water this one in 3 days. Always make sure the mix is dry before watering again. I mean all the way dry. Not just the top inch:). Easy way to check is with a wooden skewer. Put the skewer all the way down the pot. Keep it there for a couple mins. If that thing comes up damp anywhere, no water. The others should callus over, out of water for a few days. Then you can set on top of some mix. No water till roots form. Keep these guys in filtered light. No direct sun. Once roots form you can begin to water and start with morning sun. Don't go lifting everyday looking for roots. This will slow down the process. People always ask "how will I know roots are there if I don't look?". You will know the plant will perk up, and most likely start getting new growth in the center:). If I missed anything or your confused just ask. Hopefully you will be able to keep these special plants for a long time. Goodluck:). Most if not all succulents don't need water to produce roots.
